Great city building game so far. Since there's new ones coming in the future. There is tons of modifications and stylization of your chosen region. Graphics are ok. Better than Sim city. I'm not just that good of a city planner and designer. But this game has all the tools and dlcs you will need.

Now after a few patches from Iceflake i started the game again. Already noticing the difference. Loaded my biggest city (350k) and: - Runs smoother (+10Fps more) - Game can be speed up again, up to 3x - Traffic seems smarter - Graphics look better I hope they keep up the good work on this game.

Loved this game for a couple years now. Iceflake (new developers as of early 2026) have made it a million times better, too. Play with mods (anarchy, find it, etc) and it's incredible

you need mods to make it playable but the game realy facilitates the process of instaling them and with mods its very adicting

Despite all of its glaring issues I still prefer it to the first game, and its base game has much more content than the base game of Cities Skylines 1. I wlill never under any circumstances recommend you purchase the DLC, though.
