First, no performance issue for me. No MH combat ever felt this good to me as a CB player. Every action, animation and UI feels smooth. The only thing I can complain is that multiplayer connection keeps disconnecting randomly.
i understand that the game didnt come out great and it had its problems. i recently got the game to play exclusively on steam deck. so all my hours 100% of it is on steam deck. i genuinely am enjoying the game. i havent had 1 single studder or crash or anything. the game is fun af, and i do actually recommend it to everyone still on the fence because of all the negativity on performance it use to have/still has. if my steam deck can run it just fine ... your pc can run it just fine as well.
Played on xbox originally because of all the performance issues at launch but just recently picked it up for pc and it runs like a dream now even on my older pc. Would recommend this to any monster hunter fan
Played through the game and encountered all of one bug which lasted for about 7 seconds, game is fun it's my third monster hunter game after world and rise, not counting tri cause i never beat it but very enjoyable overall I love the environments, especially seeing the plenty after all of the inclemency states. Not sure what causes issues on even higher end pcs although I have heard from other players that the optimization patches have shown improvements in performance.
Yes, I can run it on a GTX 970. Yes, I can play it. Randomly crashes sometimes, but I see it's a common problem. It's lots of fun. I like the new mechanics (I only played World/Iceborne before this tho), I miss some of the old mechanics but hey, nothing stops me from jumping from one monster hunter to the other. Got to hunter rank 230 at the moment and still not finished the Title Updates before Ascendance arrives. Obviously better with friends <3
have not got to play much, i started playing when i had my gtx 1070 8gb in, and it looked like pure dookie. i upgraded to a ASRock Radeon RX 9070 XT Monster Hunter Wilds Edition (won the gpu and the game key through sweepstakes)..... and it crashes. every single time. loads up fine, get in game. start moving, and bam.... crash. so far its only done it with this game and forza 5. with the setup combination i have i guess a very few handful of games just do not like it.
