No Man’s Sky is shaping up to be one of the biggest indie releases of the year. The game, a first-person open world survival game, is the first indie game to ever be presented at the centerpiece of the influential, E3 conference. No Man’s Sky will task players with exploring the universe which consists of over 18 quintillion planets! Each player will be able to decide his/her own fate by deciding where and how to travel, whether or not to engage in combat and what else to focus their gathered resources on. In No Man’s Sky, the sky seems to truly be the limit. Features OPEN WORLD - 18 quintillion is a number almost impossible to wrap your head around. That’s how many planets are available in No Man’s Sky, each unique in its own way. Explore as many planets as possible to gather resources to upgrade your spaceship on your journey throughout the universe. STORE INFORMATION IN THE ATLAS - Share your discoveries with other players by updating The Atlas, a special tool granted to each player of the game. When you find a new planet, share its coordinates in The Atlas and reap the benefits by being rewarded in-game currency. DON’T GET CAUGHT - Remember, you’re not in this universe alone. Others might try and fight you, and stealing might not pay off. Stealing a planet’s resources or harming life forms might attract the attention of Sentinels who are meant to protect these planets. Always keep a sharp eye out for any trouble heading your way!

My brother passed suddenly in Feb 2025. I saw he had a very positive review on this game and I hadn't played it before. It has very quickly become one of my favorite games. I have been naming planets and systems after his gamer tags and character names he would pick. I wish we could have explored the stars together. One day we will be Travelers together.
The best game ever. 10 years of huge content updates with no price changes. Insane! It might be confusing first couple of hours coz the game drops HUGE amount of mechanics onto you. But when you get used to basic mechanics you'll see how much content the game offers you. I've played 560 hours so far and still I find content I didn't see before: hidden late game content, hidden galaxy, etc.
Instantly fell in love with this game, the environment, the space travel, and most importantly the ability to go literally anywhere in this game and do whatever u want, there is no defined way of how one should play this game, its all about doing what u like. And i like this aspect of No Man's Sky. And if anyone want to min max stuff there is always those Youtube Guides available so ( Learning ) is gonna be a continous thing . ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS GAME ♥
Yes. I continue to play this game because I like it. No game is perfect, but this game is like rolling around naked on a bed full of declawed kittens (I'm against declawing kittens, but if you're naked you need some reassurances.) I like this game enough for you to play it.
I've played this game off and on over the years, launch was undoubtedly bad, but they have gone on to make this game an absolute treat to return too every now and then. Highly recommend.
Always wanted to play this game since initial released, glad i waited so long. Incredible game, perfect for ADHD hyper focus. For some this may be slow paced, but that's half the fun, defs recommend.
