What a game ! Incredible writing, outstanding OST, and an amazing artistic direction overall ! A masterpiece and an unforgettable journey you don't want to miss !

My third GOTY platinum and honestly it's totally deserved. The epic story and the mesmerizing soundtrack catch you off guard. This was my first turn based game so I was a bit skeptical but I think I have come to enjoy this genre. A clear 10/10 must play. For those who come after!

33/10. Burned Canvas. Took an art class. Failed. Refused to become a Painter and start WW4. Took piano lessons. Failed. Threw the piano at the Eiffel Tower. Got emotionally abused by Renoir. For those who come after Whee. Recommend.

Definitely one of the greatest games of all times and one of my personally most loved games. I still listen to its soundtrack to this day. 10/10

It's hard to keep expectations in line once the hype engine goes into overdrive, and given how much praise has been sent E33's way, I felt there was a decent chance that I'd walk away unsatisfied for one reason or the other. But turns out E33 is actually and truly superb from the beginning until the titles begin to roll, and it's definitely something that'll stay with me for more than a decent while. Masterfully executed, this one.

one of those rare pieces of art that makes you reconsider how storytelling functions as a medium. people talk about "the plot twist(s)," but there isn't really any twist here so much as a gradual unfolding into something greater than the sum of its parts. i'm a sucker for art about art, and that's exactly what this game is, packaged into a tight jrpg and elevated by a narrative that ultimately astounds in its simplicity. go in blind, and you'll have one hell of a time.
