I enjoyed this more than the base game, in all honesty. It made both Rose and Ethan shine, and I think stepping away from the self-insert intentionally characterless player character was a great call. The middle section in particular was very, very strong.
mid dlc shadow of rose was fine not the best but fine i wish u could pick fps for it, making third person mode for main story behind dlc is kinda dumb but whatever and The Mercenaries Additional Orders is also just fine tho i didnt liked it as much as others in reviews its also really overpriced if u really want it then get on sale otherwise not worth it shadow of rose takes 2-3 hours to beat end of zoe and banned footage re7 dlc is a lot better i recommend get it instead 5/10
Get it if it's on sale; the extra content is one short (1-3 hours) story expansion and a collection of non-story missions. It's fine but doesn't really matter much.
It's a nice story in my opinion. I had a lot of fun playing as Rose also ( Ethan best dad ever)
